FAQ

Privacy: I prefer to keep my photos private. What's your policy?

The ownership and rights of the photos would technically be under my name. This does not mean that I will be using it for any other purpose than to photography you, for you.

The agreement is to inform you that if you wish to sell, distribute or publish the images, you would have to gain permission from me. I will not be publishing your photos at all as you would need to sign a model release first which you did not sign!

If I wish to use any of your images for public use, like marketing material, you would get to review the photos and would need to sign a model release. I never post anything unless I get your explicit permission Safety and privacy is extremely important to me and my business ♥️

If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the most affordable way to travel as I love experiencing new things. Please contact me for more details.

When will I receive photos?

You will receive a private online gallery link with your digital images within 1 to 3 weeks.

You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!

What is sliding scale pricing?

Sliding scale pricing is how I try to be as accessible as possible. As a child of immigrants, I recognize that money can be a barrier for those facing financial constraints. Photography is a service that can feel like a luxury and my goal is empower as much people as possible. This work is how I support my family and in order to be accessible to those like me, I created this sliding scale system.

How does it work?

Investing in a Photoshoot for some may require sacrifices. These sacrifices might involve cutting back on discretionary spending (new clothes, tech, eating out, movies, travelling etc.) without causing long-term harm. However, if investing in a Photoshoot would lead to significant hardships such as struggling to afford basic needs (food, housing, transport), then it is beyond sacrifice.

There are 3 tiers of pricing. You can learn more about it by contacting me!

What are the three options?

There are 3 options to select from:

financially abundant - This means you are passionate about arts and photography. You want to generously support others by supporting my business to sustain this mission.

financially stable - you're interested in contributing to the operational expenses.

financially fluctuating - your financially situation varies and you are open to receiving support from your community.

I'm not sure what I fall under

You can consider paying more if you:
- own the home you live in
- have investments, retirement or inherited money
- are able to travel recreationally
- have access to financial support in times of need
- work less or work part time by choice
- have a high degree of earning power due to privilege. Even if you are not exercising this, please recognize this as a choice.

Do you do weddings or other types of photography?

Short Answer: It depends. Most of the time, No.

Long Answer: I've been a photographer for over a decade and have done it all ~ this means I've learned what I love to do. I love empowering women through my portrait photography and I love capturing families stories at my other brand www.littlemoons.ca.

If you've photographed with me before, please don't be shy and let me know if you'd like me to photograph your wedding!
