Introduction
In celebration of her 10th wedding anniversary with her partner, K, we captured a boudoir photoshoot in Winnipeg, Manitoba that was all about empowerment, self-confidence, and embracing her sultry, dark femme side. With a spicy mix of bold outfits, daring poses, and a little help from her dog, Sanza, this session was nothing short of unforgettable. This dark & bold photoshoot was a way for her to show just how deeply she feels for K, celebrating their love with empowering portraits that embrace both strength and sensuality.
Behind the Scenes: A Vision of Spice and Confidence
This boudoir photoshoot in Winnipeg was a true labor of love, with a special emphasis on her deep connection with K. She trusted me completely to bring her vision to life, and the result was a fiery, empowering experience. From the start, she wanted something spicy but classy—think sultry, edgy, and confident. It was her first boudoir photoshoot, and we decided on a "spicy 6, maybe up to a 9" vibe. There was no frontal nudity, but we embraced suggestive poses that highlighted her curves and tattoos, creating edgy portraits that exude confidence and allure.
We started with bold, smokey eye makeup by professional makeup artist Muriel Garma, followed by big, voluminous hair (thanks to my first attempt with Jer’s guidance) and support from Muriel. While Jer wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t be with us physically, his teachings and encouragement made sure we were all set. We didn’t miss a beat!
A wanted to bring in her dog to give a more edgy vibe to the session.
Since Jer was absent, Muriel & I did her hair. Jer gave guidance through text and phone.

Outfits & Styling: Edgy, Bold, and Sexy
For the outfits, we started with a jersey set paired with fishnets—something that made her feel fierce and sexy. At the end we added bomber jacket, combat boots, and a red light for that extra bad-girl energy, which perfectly matched her tattoos.
Her dog, Sanza, joined the fun and added another layer of confidence to the shoot. Sanza, a mostly Rottweiler, brought the tough and playful vibe we were looking for, and she absolutely loved being part of the experience!
The Photoshoot
The boudoir photoshoot was full of laughs, bold poses, and lots of confidence. We focused on creating images that would make her feel empowered, beautiful, and undeniably sexy. With each shot, she embraced her body and persona in a way that was truly special. She looked every bit the Dark Femme—dark & moody, bold, and confident. I could see the confidence radiating from her with each click of the camera.
The session lasted about 1.75 hours, and we took a total of 357 photos, which were then culled down to 112 and selected to 44 final images. Every photo was edited with care, paying attention to details like lighting, background adjustments, and finished with a unique touch—adding a “2025” to the front cover of her album to mark the year of this empowering experience. The result was a stunning set of boudoir portraits that beautifully captured her essence and love for K.

This boudoir photoshoot was about so much more than just sexy lingerie and bold poses—it was about celebrating who she is today, embracing her body, and her personality, and showing K just how deeply she feels for him after a decade of love. The entire experience was a true celebration of love, empowerment, and embracing every part of herself.
