Introduction


This year, I decided to do something different for my 34th birthday. I’ve spent so many years not fully embracing my birthday, often hiding it from others. In the past, I’d plan a hangout but not tell anyone it was my birthday. I didn’t want the attention, but at the same time, I didn’t want to be alone. This year, I decided to celebrate myself and allow my friends and family to show me the love I’ve been hesitant to receive.

The Celebration


I couldn't quite decide on an activity—gone are the days of clubbing, and I wanted to do something during the day, either crafty or active. I considered rock climbing, an escape room, candle painting, flower arranging, or even an indoor play structure for adults (if only!). I had so many ideas, but in the end, my friends took charge and told me I wasn’t planning anything this year. They had it covered!

It turned into the perfect day:

  • A cozy family breakfast to start.
  • Solving puzzles in a surprise Escape Room.
  • A semi-surprise bouquet-making session at the studio (it was SO cute!).
  • Then I got glammed up by the amazing @artistrybyjer before heading out for drinks.
  • The night ended with a candlelit dinner made by love, Jarren.

A Day Filled with Love


This birthday was everything I could’ve dreamed of and more. The whole day was filled with love, thoughtfulness, and care from my friends and family. It was so meaningful to me that I could finally open up and receive all the love they had to offer. I’m beyond blessed to have such an incredible circle of people in my life.

A huge thank you to everyone who made me feel so special. I’ll never forget this one! 💕

For this photoshoot, I leaned into my Scorpio side—choosing something sexy, dark, and bold to capture my essence. It was the perfect way to celebrate myself and the strength I've found in receiving love.
